Kristopher Yanez

Kristopher is from Allen, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Southwestern University in 2016, and from PIMA Medical institute as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in 2019. Prior to being a PTA, Kris was an intern at the United States Olympic training Center in Colorado Springs, worked as support staff in a fast paced outpatient orthopedic clinic, and was a fitness coach for people from age 5 to 65+.
Kris’ professional experience in recent years includes rehabilitating the geriatric population in the home health setting and assisting children in outpatient pediatrics. During his professional career, Kris has treated patients with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic surgeries, joint replacements, CVAs, TBIs, Cardio-Pulmonary Disease, and Parkinson’s Disease. Kris also has experience with pediatric patients including autism, down syndrome, idiopathic toe walking, developmental delay, and hypotonia. Kris has a Square 1 Level 1&2 certification and is passionate about how the brain processes sensory information to accelerate patient healing.
When Kris is not at work, he is likely dreaming about snowboarding, trail riding with his dogs Maverick and Cleo, country dancing, making bread, playing basketball, camping, eating BBQ, or actually snowboarding with his wife, Catherine. Catherine and Kris have recently welcomed a baby girl, so they’re quite busy these days.
